RIP Halo
My mom and dad lost their cat Halo yesterday. He wasn't even 2 years old yet. He had to have emergency surgery on Tuesday to stop internal bleeding from a genetic condition that sheds the lining of his bladder. The vet said that it would be an ongoing problem they would have to keep an eye on, but he should be OK.

He wasn't doing well Wednesday, but the vet assured my parents it was going to take more than a day for him to recover from his surgery. My mom got home last night from work and found him dead. Poor baby didn't get a great start in life, he was born feral somewhere near my dad's office. My dad started feeding him and his sister, got them both vaccinated and spayed/neutered. Halo eventually came around and enjoyed interacting with people, so my dad took him home. He was a good little cat, very sweet.

Run free baby bobcat. (I always called him that because he had 2 little tufts of fur at the tips of his ears that made him look like a bobcat.)

Re: RIP Halo
Aw. Tough little life he had. At least he had some companionship for the short time your mom and dad had him. RIP Halo.

He had a better life because your parents took him in, although short, still better, RIP HALO

RIP Halo. You had a rough start in life but you at least knew you were loved and looked after by your adoptive family. 2 years is way to young to leave us.
