I survived the heart procedure today............. ........barely.
Damn but am I ever sore! They did an Electrophysiology study of my heart to map out the electrical system to find the reason for the Ventricular Tachycardia. Everything went pretty smooth until they gave me a drug the Dr. called "Exercise in a Can" Jesus H. Christ is THAT stuff ever wicked bad!! Since the Dr. was controlling or triggering my heartbeats, and I thought at one time my heart was gonna jump right out of my chest. He said at one point, that I went into SUPER Ventricular Tachycardia My chest muscles are STILL sore as hell!! Not to mention the groin area. They went in on BOTH the left and right side today!! The good and the bad of it is this....he decided that since I have no other symptoms or problems, until I get my heart rate over 160 bpm, he didn't want to do the ablation or anything else. So I guess as long as I remain calm and don't get to stupid in my workouts, everything should be just fine. I sure could have done without that "Exercise in a Can" sh!t !!! |
