Dog Bite II Karen, the produce manager for one of the stores we sell to, stopped by this morning to borrow a piece of equipment from Mark. She brought her dog with her and he is, shall we say, not trained very well. Well, the dogs were playing just fine when Karen took out a dog bone, snapped it in half and offered it to the dogs. Charlie was going for his piece when Karen's dog totally freaked and starting tearing into Charlie.
He had him by the neck and shoulder and Karen finally managed to pull her dog off him, while Mark tried to get in between the two. Fortunately, he didn't bite through the skin, but his shoulder is still quite tender. Thank goodness Charlie is a pretty rugged dog. Mark told Karen that would be the end of her dog visiting the farm.

Re: Dog Bite II Eek, poor Charlie and Mark.
I know when Sally and Jesse got a fight, it scared me and his owner, it was over a bone he had found in our yard. No bones are allowed to be where they can get to them when he is around. He started it, too.
