Hallie and I are heading about 2 hours north tomorrow for a week. Gwen very graciously asked us if we'd like to join her and her family at a cottage for the week and Hallie and I said yes. The shopping is pretty much done, the last load of laundry is in the wash now and all I have to do is finish packing the car today for an early morning getaway tomorrow. Can't wait!!

We're going up with 4 labs and it's gonna swell to 5 because Kathy, Hersheysmom is driving in from Ottawa to join us for a few days. A lake and labs....does it get any better? Oh, did I tell you that Gwen's 13 year old son is just absolutely wonderful with the dogs? I have no doubt that all of them will sleep like babies while we're there. Riley will no doubt need an arm transplant by the time he's done throwing bumpers and balls for 5 crazy dogs!! I also doubt that any of them will be completely dry from the moment we arrive to the moment we leave.
