Pitbull abuse
There are 2 separate incidents where Pitbulls have been grossly abused by their owners recently. Sick to think what some "humans" can do to these poor babies.
1st is "Peggy" ...she is a pit who was thrown from the top floor of a building by her owner's boyfriend
several broken bones, all being fixed by the community's outpouring of generosity....
2nd is a poor baby who had his jaw so severely broken that it was just hanging...his "owners" had him in their van when they brought it in to be serviced...the mechanics saw the dog and called the police. Here is a link...breaks my friggin

I don't even want to read that link. I'm just sickened reading the details you gave. I still don't understand how people can treat animals that way. Maybe we should do the same to the owners.

I can't bring myself to open that link either.... it's heartbreaking to think of what these "owners" do to their dogs.

Re: Pitbull abuse
The only good thing in these stories is that some good hearted citizens came thru and alerted the authorities to these poor babies, and both have since been adopted in to loving homes and are getting top notch medical care at Cornell. It just kills me that these poor babies had to go thru this to begin with. WTF is wrong with people?!? Both of the individuals responsible for the abuse are currently in jail...facing up to 4 years in prison and because of the publicity, I'm thinking the judge is gonna stick it to 'em! I'll let ya know how it ends. All I know is that these babies are now being taken care of the way they should have been from day 1!

Re: Pitbull abuse
Would I be a cold-hearted jerk if I requested that the judge order the owner's boyfriend to be thrown from the top of the same building? That's my feeling on the subject...

Not sure if any of you have seen Pit Boss on tv, but I confess that I had no interest nor cared about pitt bull dogs, but after watching this how, it did open up my eyes to the breed a little bit along with the knowledge that there are alot of people who get them for the purpose of dogfights. Now here again that is sick as hell. What is wrong with people!!..

Maybe these so-called humans do not believe that animals are worth anything---but when you stop and THINK..these pets give us so much and ask for so little in return. "What you do to the least of my brothers, you do unto me"...
