Two baby coyotes!









Fortunately for them, they were only in it for the peanut butter in the trap and they weren't bothering the corn. So we set them free. Mark's friend, who put the traps out, couldn't believe it when he found them. He was expecting coons and never saw coyote's around here before.

Never argue with idiots, they'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Very cute babies. I bet their momma was looking for them. Or maybe, as I might if my kids got caught in traps on a farm they weren't supposed to be at, was having a nap or running errands enjoying the peace and quiet.

Ah they are so cute. Should just start putting some PB out there for them.

We have a skunk I keep wanting John to trap before Sally gets sprayed. It's been marking around our backyard, driving her insane for a week.

Foster and rescue dogs are forever dogs. We are forever part of their journey home. They are forever in our hearts.

They are so cute, But at night when there's a pack of them out in the field yipping it's kind of scary. They always get Rocky's attention. Lily's about two feet behind me. She wants nothing to do with them.

Our sweet lab-mix named Pup was 11 years old when he went outside in a wild frenzy---he never came back. He was a victim of coyotes... Lil Pup never had a chance. We found his body less than a week later when "mother nature" led us to where he was via our nose. He had been mauled and had crawled under our deck and had passed there...

I was inconsolable for a month or more--it was like I had lost one of my children because he was born in the middle of winter in our basement. I held him when he was minutes old. Pup was so special to us.

It took our little choco baby to stifle my tears and to move thru all that... She is now 7 and is happy and healthy and active. I don't ever let her out late at night out here in the country without a leash.

As cute as the pups were, I would not want them destroyed--I'd have taken them 20 miles or further away or to a wildlife preserve...
